FOULABLE is a news parody publication that relies on satire covering a wide range of topics for the purpose of converting our readers’ valuable time, attention, and resources into money for our own enrichment.  All articles contained within this website and on its social media accounts, however similar to real events, are fictitious. 

Beginning long ago in our mom’s basement far, far away we now enjoy daily readership vastly surpassing a baker’s dozen across several different channels.  Our ambition is to someday entertain a wide enough audience to measurable and positively impact global happiness, and to be able to afford to host an amazing open bar at our corporate holiday party.

What is humor, and more specifically, satire?

Humor can generally be defined as the quality of being amusing or comic, especially as expressed in literature or speech.  It’s important to note that the weird and sometimes frightening things that might be humorous to you may not invoke the same reaction in someone else and vice versa. That’s fine, it takes all kinds to make this flat world of ours spin. 

Satire is the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.  It’s also a great way to relieve stress by poking fun at the nonsense that rules the 24-hour news cycle.

We’re sorry to hear that.  Please remember that the First Amendment protects satire as a form of free speech and expression.  FOULABLE uses invented names in all stories, except in cases where public figures are being satirized, and the corresponding story details are invented.  Any other use of real names or resemblance to actual people, businesses or events is accidental and coincidental. Images on the FOULABLE website and other channels may consist of original photos, commissioned artwork, stock photography and creative commons photos. Use of these works does not suggest that the respective authors endorse us or our use of the work.  FOULABLE is not intended for readers under 18 years of age.
